A Roman Catholic Parish Established in 2000

Letter From Our Pastor

My dear brothers and sisters of the Church of Saint Katharine Drexel,

May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you!

Bishop Dennis Sullivan has appointed me your new Pastor. I am truly humbled and honored to have the opportunity to minister to, and serve, your community and I look forward to working collaboratively with you on our faith journeys. Despite the ongoing pandemic, I hope to have the opportunity to meet and get to know each of you in the coming days.

My name is Fr. Joselito C. Ramos, but please call me Fr. Jose. I am a member of the Religious Community of the Alagad ni Maria (Disciples of Mary), a young religious order in the Philippines. I was ordained as a priest in 2003.   In the Philippines, I was Director of Novices (in charge of formation of Novice seminarians) and Diocesan Director of Youth Ministry in Infanta.  In the United States, I served as a chaplain at Catholic Newman’s Club at CalState Fullerton and as a parochial vicar at the Church of St. Pius X in Scarsdale, NY. As a parochial vicar, I led our parish's religious education program and spearheaded our youth, outreach, and liturgy ministry teams.  In 2013, I also assisted my pastor with a major renovation of our church building.

As your pastor, I hope to follow in the footsteps our Lord Jesus Christ who was born not to be served but to serve. May we always imitate our patron saint, Saint Katharine, to serve one another.

If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out to me at 609-645-7313 or email

Yours truly in Christ,
Fr. Jose, A.M.
